Clarke had the choice of a 352 with wide players and 4231 wingers and he chose neither against Hungary. Our 343 system doesnt work well without Hickey and Dykes, and thr 343 isnt great for us against top opponents. Why has he fallen out with Gauld and Ryan Fraser? Clarke may struggle now to motivate players in qualification given how he repeatedly fails in tournaments.

Can we PLEASE put the current Scotland kit in the bin? Maybe it's an age thing, but surely white shorts and red socks is infinitely better than this current, drab monstrosity? We played much better fitba in it too😊

Clarke repeated the same mistakes as the Last Euros in Germany. The 343 system doesn't really work anymore and was designed for Tierney and Robertson. Clarke could have chose a 352 with wide players or a 4231 with wingers and that would have been more progressive. Clarke can't take this team any further and he has to go because why would players be motivated to play well in qualification when they know Clarke is awful in tournaments? Clarke out.

What people seem to forget is its much easier to qualify now thats the only reason weve been to the last 2 euros but the fact Scotland allowed the counter to happen without fouling the player in the middle of the park is absolutely criminal. Pretty easy to explain failure. Small nation but more than that, a small minded nation.
